PosEvent: Charity Miles
Important Notice: In order to earn volunteer hours for participating in this event, you must be an accepted P4P volunteer. Click here to join P4P as a volunteer. Nonetheless, all are welcome to participate!
About the PosEvent
Our Charity Miles PosEvent will be held throughout August - December, 2023. P4P volunteers and nonvolunteers will have the entire duration to run or walk as many miles as they want to help fundraise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.​

There is no limit to how many hours P4P volunteers may receive from this event. Additionally, volunteers may participate multiple times (volunteers can participate every month). See the steps below to understand how to participate. This event is NOT mandatory but is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. If you need assistance please email us at p4pvolunteering@gmail.com
How to Participate

Step 1: Begin by downloading the Charity Miles app on your phone.

Step 2: Create an account or log in if you are already a member.

Step 3: Link a health app such as the app “Health” on Iphones to the CharityMiles app (the CharityMiles app will prompt you to do this).

Step 4: Join our team by searching up our name (Main Positivity4Patients) or by using this link.

Step 5: Run/walk the amount of miles you wish to run/walk.

Step 6: Take a screenshot of your miles and submit them using this Google Form for verification by December 31st, 2023 @ 11:59 pm.

1 Mile = 30 volunteer minutes

2 Miles = 1 volunteer hour

3 Miles = 90 volunteer minutes

4 Miles = 2 volunteer hours
